"Bringing Communities Together Through Young People"
Advocate, Complain, Lobby...
An advocate is someone who can help others speak up so their views are heard, their rights met and their problems sorted. To make changes in society takes civil engagement, a lot of letter writing and telephone calls and above all perseverance.

If it's a local matter write to your local councillor or MP: Write to them and  Find my MP

Media Monitor: tell the media what you think! Have you read something you deem racist or discriminatory against a religion? Heard something offensive on the radio? Fed up of stereotypes on TV?

It's time to tell the media how you feel!

AYA wants you to take action and let the producers, editors, journalists, presenters and broadcasters know about how misrepresenting minority ethnics and religions affects you and why they should challenge racial and religious discrimination and stereotyping.
